NFL Draft 2024: Day 2 Round 1 Order Finalized
Second and Third Rounds to Unfold Friday
Quarterback Depth Highlights Draft Class
The 2024 NFL Draft's first round has concluded, setting the stage for two more rounds of exciting selections. Friday's action will feature the second and third rounds, which will be packed with talented prospects, particularly on the offensive side of the ball.
One of the key storylines of this year's draft is the depth of talent at the quarterback position. The top of the class is loaded with highly skilled passers, including Cade Klubnik, D.J. Uiagalelei, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. These pro-ready prospects have the potential to make an immediate impact in the NFL.
Other offensive positions also boast a strong crop of prospects. The running back class features Evan Stewart and Seth McGowan, two versatile playmakers who can contribute in both the running and passing games. Tight end Luke Musgrave is a massive target with excellent hands and a knack for finding the end zone.
The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft was held on Thursday at 8 pm ET in Detroit. The Carolina Panthers had the first pick and selected Cade Klubnik, the top-ranked quarterback in the country. The Jacksonville Jaguars followed by taking D.J. Uiagalelei with the No. 2 pick, and the Baltimore Ravens rounded out the top three by selecting Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
